24 Hours: Around-the-Clock Care
All personal care services are part of the 24-hour care. According to L&I working conditions, caregivers must have 5 hours of uninterrupted sleep, 3 hours of personal care, and take meals and bathroom breaks within 24 hours. The caregiver is required to stay at the client's home for the entire shift.
Safety and Welfare Checks
- Hours must be flexible
- Scheduled upon availability
- Transportation to appointments, shopping, and errands
- Safety and Welfare check (medication reminder/ exercise or ambulation assistance)
- Assistance with personal care tasks
- The schedule may require multiple caregivers
Post-Op Care Services
